Diamonds Strike Out Cancer Run-A-Thon

We are a team of 11 girls who play 10U Softball at SCAA in Chesapeake, VA. Almost every single one of us knows someone whose life has been impacted by cancer in one way or another.

We have set a team goal to raise $500 in the month of October to donate to The National Pediatric Cancer Foundation. October is a month where cancer support and awareness of all types is very big, and we want to do our part to help while doing something we love…SOFTBALL!

We have 8 games scheduled in the month of October, so we are asking for your support! You can pledge any amount per run we score in our combined 8 games, or you can also just give a flat donation. We score an average of 10 runs per game (this number could be higher or lower). So, even pledging $0.25 per run would help our cause - no amount is too small!

Team sports is about much more than winning. It’s about learning life lessons, and we are working hard to show these amazing 11 softball players that they can make a difference.
