In memory of Daniel, contributions can be made to support Penn State Lift For Life

Daniel Anderson Jordan, 26, a resident of Camp Hill, died Monday, February 18, 2019 in Lebanon.

Born June 27, 1992 in State College, he was the son of David Alan Jordan, of State College, and Teri Anderson Jordan, of Boalsburg, who survive. Also, surviving is a step-sister, Jenna Jordan.

Daniel was employed by I.M.G Sports Academy in Bradenton, FL as a Track and Field Sales Director where he reached the million-dollar sales club in his first year there. More recently, he worked as a supervisor for D.H.L. Transportation and Logistics in Mechanicsburg.

He attended State College High School and lettered in football, wrestling, and lacrosse. In his senior year, he attended Kiski Prep in Saltsburg where he lettered in football, wrestling, and baseball. While attending Penn State University he lettered in track and field as weight thrower and hammer thrower. Here he was Big Ten Academic Award winner and was voted the Over and Above Award male winner that is voted on by his peer student athletes in all sports. He was a starting long snapper at Lock Haven. He was then invited to three bowl games after attending Lock Haven University and was named special teams MVP in the Dream Bowl in 2015. Following graduation, he worked and trained at I.M.G in Bradenton, Fl and went on to have a try out as a long snapper for the Denver Broncos and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the NFL. He even had a fun extra job of modeling in Miami.

In addition to attending State College High School, Daniel was a 2010 graduate of Kiski Prep in Saltsburg, a 2014 graduate of Penn State University in Recreation Parks & Tourism Management, and received his master degree in Sports Administration from Lock Haven University in 2015. He graduated with academic honors from all three.

He was a member of Calvary Harvest Fields Church in Boalsburg and made five mission trips with the church to the Dominican Republic to help with the rebuilding of an orphanage.

Friends will be received at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton, State College, Pa 16801 on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 5 until 7 pm.

Celebration of Life will be held at Calvary Harvest Fields Church, 150 Harvest Fields Drive, Boalsburg, Pa 16827 on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 12 noon with Rev. Dan Nold officiating.
